I went back through the Nancy Crow fabrics to try to find some more fabrics for stratas for the 16 blocks. I still need to find one more pair of fabrics.
I was able to get 20 blocks out of the alternate fabric so I have 52 blocks sewn, 6 more ready to cut from stratas and sew and 20 alternate blocks for an 80 block quilt. Now I need to search for those last 2 fabrics for the last 2 blocks.
I repotted several of my Thanksgiving and/or Christmas cactus plants last week and there are some buds on one of them. The temperature in the house is lowered plus shorter daylight each day and that starts them setting buds. I have around 20 plants and they don't bloom all at once.

I’ll have to check my Thanksgiving cactus and see if there’s any buds……can’t quite believe it’s time for them already. Wanda, your Nancy Crow quilt is going to be amazing!
That is great you were able to get the 20 blocks! I have a philodendron that needs repotted so bad!. I need to give it a hair cut and root the cut offs The vines are growing across my floor!
20 blocks is a good number to have gotten, Wanda--
I need to separate my cacti plants...two of them are all huddled in together...I don't know if they like to be crowded or not? No buds on them yet...
We are prepping for the possible high wind/rain storm coming our way tomorrow...
54 this morning and overcast...errand day today...
Enjoy your day;))) hugs, Julierose

One of my cactus plants has its first bud of the season. Several of my houseplants need some TLC.
Wishing you well on your quest for a few more fabrics for this joyous quilt!
Rain tomorrow? Who knows.
Hugs!
Surely your stash will produce just the right prints to finish the blocks!
Hooray for Christmas Cactus buds!! Mine are healthy but it hasn't cooled off quite enough yet for the buds to start.
Nancy Crow has a very distinctive style to all of her designs doesn’t she ~ good to see so many of them in your quilt thats in the works. And OMG ~ 20 cactus plants to care for… I have just one that makes me happy that I’ve been able to keep alive for a few years now.
the browns/rust look really good together. I have not noticed buds on my plants but they have been outside and still are - I will start to bring them in next week probably
