A little sewing................

I'm not a football fan but I turned on ABC to watch 10 p.m. news last night and there was still 2 minutes left in the game, Georgia vs Georgia Tech.  At 11 p.m. they were in their 8th OT.  So....I got more stitching time in because I had to see who won and it was Georgia.  Those guys must have been so tired...31 straight home game wins, score 44 - 42.  I scored half of a long side and half of a short side in stitching, so I have 1 1/2 sides left to hand stitch.

Earlier in the evening I sewed 2 star blocks at right and left in the bottom row.

I went to my grandson and fiancĂ©'s house for our mid-day Thanksgiving.  We had a great time.  When he brought me home he helped me with a tech problem.  My remote for the studio TV only had 2 working buttons for the last 3 days, on/off and volume.  I told him about it on the way to his house and he said he thought he could fix it.  We decided to try new batteries first and when he opened that compartment there was a website listed to go to if there was a problem with pairing with the TV.  He went to it, followed the directions on the screen and now it works.  Thank God for grandchildren who are way smarter than us seniors with all of this new tech stuff.

Oh yes, those grands are such techie experts for sure--good that it got fixed for you. I have enough troubles navigating my new phone these days!!
29 here this morning--the frost is on the pumpkin now;))) If only we could get a little, pretty snowfall....
Your flowery stars are coming along so well--great colors...

Wow, what game! Troubleshooting tech stuff can be so frustrating to me but young adults seem to have little trouble, thank goodness!

I am totally lost when it comes to tech stuff - I just don't understand it. Mike can usually figure it out and used to be really good at it mainly because when he worked he stayed up to date on things. Now since retirement was so long ago and there have been so many new advances at times he has a hard time figuring it out as well. I wonder how I will be able to figure things out at times if he wasn't here! I don't usually watch football but younger daughter is on a football pool and has the possibility of winning a bit of money if her rivals time looses today or maybe it is Sunday? I might be willing to watch it to see if she wins

Yep, kids and grands seem to understand tech stuff like it was plain English! How nice to have your TV fixed!

Thanks giving dinner at your grandsons ~ hand stitching on your binding ~ two more star blocks complete was a good day for you. And those Stars are mesmerizing beauties. And your t.v. remote back in working order. I agree ~ our grandchildren know this technical world we live in .

We are Longhorn fans which meant we had a great deal of interest in the outcome of that game, but we didn't stay up until the end.

My sister as well as my son texted me to be sure I was watching the Georgia game. We live in SC and are tired of Georgia. We were rooting for Georgia Tech. That was an awesome game. So disappointed Georgia Tech didn’t win. They weren’t even ranked and played their hearts out. So frustrating to have technical problems. Isn’t it wonderful to have good help?! Your stars are beautiful. I really like the backing on that quilt. I need to bring my cactus plants in. They are loaded with buds and a few blooms. It’s gets down to 34 tonight. I hope they will be ok for one more night. I am already in bed and just remembered them.

Yay for smart grandchildren! They are a blessing.
I really like that first quilt. Delightfully simple, but still quite an impact, especially with that backing and binding!

I really like these star blocks! I heard about that game. I can't imagine 8 overtimes for the players. They are still in recovery!
