Planting and sewing............

I only sewed a few of the strip sets for the 16 patch quilt since I didn't start sewing until 9 p.m.  I went out at 7 p.m. to plant red Impatiens along my driveway where the bushes were pulled out.  It was almost dark at 8:30 so I had to quit then.
I have more buds on my Peonies than I did last year.  They must have liked our winter.

The Weigela should be in full bloom today.  It is just loaded with buds again.  The pale pink one has a couple blooms but not as many buds.  My red one blooms later.

I know in Montana, peonies are fantastic, which I am sure the long, cold winters have a lot to do with that. I love peonies.

Those peonies are looking good! You must post a picture when they bloom. Have a great weekend!

I always love seeing your posts at this time of year, love your paeonies, can't grow them where I live so I get my fix looking at your photos.

Those are two plants that don't grow here at all. But the red impatiens I have growing right outside the patio door, and white ones in Ruthie's Garden. I've been watering EVERYTHING this evening. I cannot believe how dry it is already. And hot.
