Final decision?...........

I think this will be my final selection for my Trip Around the World quilt for my bed.  I ended up with 18 fabrics.  I took out the brighter yellows that I showed a couple days ago and added softer yellows and light greens and soft orange instead.  I also took out the 2 black background pieces and added a couple more purples.  Here is the other photo for comparison.

Yesterday I had 3 Rose Breasted Grosbeaks and one Indigo Bunting in my back yard.  The Indigo Bunting left before I could snap a photo.  The Redbud trees are almost ready to bloom and that is when these migrating birds usually stop by.

Your revised selection looks good. The transitions between fabric blends really well.

Beautiful color range you have chosen--I, too, like the softer colors...hugs, Julierose

I like those darker purples instead of the blacks ... this quilt is going to be beautiful.

We had to stop feeding the birds several years ago because it attracted too many undesirables to the neighborhood (mice and snakes). I don't miss the mice but I do miss the Indigo Bunting and Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that always visited in the Spring.

I am so looking forward to this quilt, the fabrics are vibrant. We haven’t seen those birds in our yard before but at our other home, we saw many varieties including these. The Indigo Bunting was a special treat.

Lovely swaps, the fabrics are all playing nicely, you have that wonderful eye to know what is so right.

How lucky to see an indigo bunting! They are a really rare sighting for me, I live in too suburban a place I guess, but I feel almost as happy to hear that you saw one!

Your months are always productive Wanda, and April was one of your busiest months we know. Those three pieces are treasures.

Your selected fabrics are beautiful as is, and I know your 'Trip around the World' will be just that.

I love this time of year when all our birds have returned and are in full song building their nests. Even the hummingbirds are back emptying my feeders quickly. The grosbeaks here, take over the feeders and chase my little song birds away.

I like your latest selection of fabrics, the dark purple fits beautifully, and I love the buttery yellow rather than the brighter ones. Beautiful little bird you were able to catch on film.

We have rose-breasted grosbeaks right now, too (in Missouri). It is such a treat to see them, since they are here for only a short time. Would love to see an indigo bunting! Have never seen one in the wild.
