I am so happy to have blooms in the winter. It can help me forget how cold it is outside. This is the second bloom on this cactus and there is one more bud.
The white ones are so delicate and pretty.
Questions from NO REPLY people: my stash....there is a label on my label list with lots of photos of my stash from the 10 years I have been blogging. My studio: there is a label on the label list for my studio which includes lots of photos of both studios, the main floor and the basement, plus photos of my cabinets. Don't see my label list? Maybe you are getting my blog as an email and you don't really come to my blog....you are missing a lot if you don't see the right sidebar. If you read on your smartphone you can click on "view web version" at the bottom of the post and you will see the whole blog page.

Pretty frigid here. Sadly, I don't one bloom on my cactus plants. I do an orchid that is blooming.
My cactus are still blooming, they started much later than yours did. They were in full bloom on Christmas Day. It’s cold here too but not as cold as you are. Looking forward to spring. I’m such a warm weather person.
I always love your cactus blooms. To get us through the grey and rain, I have bunches of amaryllis around the house—what a huge help!
I'm glad you keep showing your PRETTY cactus blossoms, they will have to do till mine takes off. The plant I chose with all those buds, that I thought would have blossoms galore, didn't happen. BUT .....As you said, the buds will no doubt fall off and most of them have. I doubt if I get one blossom at this point. But hope once it settles into living here I hope I will get some blossoms next year. I had to remove one leaf as it shriveled up. What does that mean ?
