I just decided that my photo ability at 11 p.m. isn't so great. I will take this down and do a good press job and hang it back up for a better photo later.
Here is a close up of the border fabric. It changes from pink to green to beige in the background and I had so little left that I couldn't match the color in all of the seams of the border. Overall it doesn't look so bad.
The block pattern is the traditional Flock of Geese block.
It ended up at 71.75" x 87.5".

I love this piece! Well done!
Love the border !
You did an outstanding job of adding that border! It looks great! I know batiks do not have much give like regular quilting cottons so accuracy is imperative. Beautiful top!
This turned out really well. The border fabric is perfect.
Simply gorgeous! Love that border batik.
Wanda, you did it again! Such a beautiful quilt and I’d love to get some of that border fabric too.
You are an artist. I feel lucky to be able to read your artistic journey every day and try to better understand the creative process.
I love the reversed triangle effect on the border!
Wanda, I love this quilt! I have always liked this block, though I have never made a quilt using it....that may need to change!
As with all of your projects, thanks for sharing, and providing all of us with inspiration for our own projects!

I didn't think this quilt top could get any better...and I should have known better.... The wider border you added is truly perfection. I love it Wanda.
Gorgeous! :D
Wanda, this is another incredibly beautifully pieced work of art! You just never cease to amaze me in your color and design choices. Bravo!
Beautiful. I love the border.
