I have 2 ladies coming on Monday for a colorwash class. In April I had to take down this colorwash because I needed the design walls for company. It has been in stacks numbered and clipped together for over 6 months so it was time to bring it out and put the pieces back up on a design wall. It still needs some tweaking, maybe even moving it out a row to the right and on the bottom.
I will probably turn it this way when I finish it. I think it definitely needs a darker edge on the bottom and I need to move some of the dark lower right corner pieces up along the right edge. Meanwhile I'll start cleaning the basement and will be glancing up at it to see what else I need to change.

Oh, your colorwash quilts are works of art! I actually find myself squinting when I look at the “washed out” part.....as if the glare is too bright! Does anyone else do the same thing??
Really pretty colorwash. I sure love these.
This piece is beautiful! With only two in the class your students will get lots of attention! Have a fun class.
Glorious work in progress!
Beautiful! Love the dark edge on the bottom.
I've said this before and will say it again, you are THE MASTER of colorwash ! And what a difference it made by swinging it around. Just GORGEOUS ! Wish I was able to be in your class on Monday.
