Back to sewing..............

I chose 12 more 1.5" strips to make 6 more sets of strata.  I wanted to add some lighter colors into the mix.

The sewn blocks in stacks of 3.

I now have 25 combinations made and here is one of each of 24 of them.  Now I need to make some more darker blocks.  I have 75 blocks finished which would only make a quilt 32" x 36" with 3 blocks left over.  I think I'll try some 8" blocks next to see how they look mixed in.

If you want to check out my current pop-up shop which is open through November 20th, click here.  My daughter does all of the layout work and I do the photography.  I would love to have you visit.

The lighter blocks really pop! I like the idea of making some 8" blocks to mix in. You have done that in the past with other quilts and you always have a unique way of incorporating them to make the quilt stunning!

Good morning Wanda....I was happy to see that you sold about a quarter of your listings and that yellow one would definitely brighten up the home of the person who was fortunate enough to purchase it. I love yellow because it's a happy and bright color and your quilt definitely puts a smile on my face. After last night's frosty temperatures, the leaves are finally falling like gentle rain and carpeting the ground with color.
