Mostly outdoors........

It was another beautiful day to work outside yesterday.  I did more weeding and spread a product that is supposed to control weeds that grow from seeds.  I'm sure Creeping Charlie will continue to crawl all over the garden.  I needed to shop for a new watering wand for my hose.  I have to keep watering the bed where I planted the zinnia seeds.

In the little amount of time I was inside I did chose 2 binding fabrics for the little table toppers that I quilted a few days ago.  I need to start cleaning the basement for the art quilters visit next Monday.  I have piles and piles of fabric to put away. I will have to do my cookie baking late Saturday night or early Sunday morning because we are supposed to have temperatures in the 90s and more humid Sunday through Tuesday.

Gorgeous here yesterday and also worked in the garden. I still have work to do and have to wait for the stumps to be ground before I fix the other beds. Such a lovely temperature in the 60s. Moved the Studio Cutter to another room and made an attempt to clean up my sewing room.

The binding choices are perfect. It is cool here so far today and I am enjoying it! So far I don't see anything coming up from the coneflower and lavender seeds I planted.

Gardening always takes so much time away from sewing time, but it always feel so good to be outside working in the fresh air. I could certainly live happily without the high humidity that accompanies the heat. That zaps all energy.

We also had a great day here. Worked on back yard cleaning up the weeds and moving Iris and clematis plant. I kneeled digging up the iris and came in with about two dozen bites around knees and thighs that itched like crazy. So now I have to find out what it is as my 3 dogs are out there all the time. Your binding choices look perfect to me, those fabrics are so pretty.

Binding fabric is perfect for both... YOU always select the best to compliment your designed tops.

Garden work is never ending this time of year I agree. I wish I had a gardener. (*._.*) My husband just mows our 7 acres of yard. (Yes 7 acres) And does not want to touch my gardens. But the deer do in ways that upset me, eating everything they take a liking to. The only thing they do not touch is our Barberry bushes. And yes I have lots of them...

why do the weeds grow so much more quickly than the flowers? I have trouble with sticky willie and also hog weed that comes from waste land at the back of my garden, it is owned by the council but they rarely maintain it. Maybe I ill get out today and do a bit of weeding also want to dig out a small evergreen that is going to get too big but that might n=be too difficult for me to do but will have a go
