The last 3 stars......maybe..........

I finally went out and picked a bouquet of Lily of the Valley.  I also pulled some weeds out by the root since we got over an inch of rain again on Wednesday.
This is the block that was laid out in yesterday's post.  I changed the center 4 squares to dark values instead of the light that was in it.
I was using up the triangle squares that were already sewn and there isn't much variety left.
This is block #35.  I used the 4 center squares that were in yesterday's layout in this one.  They look much better here.  Now I need to arrange and rearrange the 35 blocks I have and see if they all play well together.  If they don't I will make some more.

You have been staying busy.... I like the stars and will be watching to see the layout. Just goes to show that a little bit each day goes fast enough.... We are in the spring... season.... last week was wet and gray almost continuously. Sun the last 2 days....

Yesterday I started resorting all the squares in my tray boxes to accommodate the new ones. I found that I lack yellows. I have to break up some of the colors into more trays, as I have so many, say dark blues or light blues, that they need their own tray.

Love the new star you "fixed." I so wish I could take your color class--a 3 hour plane ride is a bit much. I'm going to have to settle for blog learning :)

Thank you. I like to study how you make your design choices. Yes, I can see how much better that block is.

I loved picking lilies of the valley at the house where I grew up. I still don't understand why so many people insist they are "weeds."

A beautiful vase for the lily of the valley. Is that an older one with the handle? I have 2 vases with handles, and was told during the war vases were not an item allowed to be imported, so they came with a handle and were called "jugs". Lovely change for the top block, looks great.

The smell of the lillies of the valley must be wonderful! I can't wait to see all the stars up on your design wall as you start arranging them.
