Monthly recap April 2017......

I had just two finishes in April, one large, one small.  The Snail's Trail is all batiks and is 59" x 83".  The Redwork baby quilt is 30s reproduction fabric and machine embroidery and is 33" x 43.75".
I finished one quilt top made from 30s reproduction fabrics and Kona solids.  It is 70.5" x 93.5".

The rest of the month was spent making batik triangle star blocks and having fun with family.

May will have more time spent outdoors playing in the dirt and mowing grass but I hope I will have something to put on a recap page at the end of the month.

I'm hoping that the weather cooperates with you in playing in your garden. Flowers are blooming down here but the rain has been relentless.

All the finishes are beautiful and unique.

Two finishes in a month is low for you. But I know you spent time doing other things - like cutting pieces for kits and just enjoying life. So congrats on a good month!

Nice finishes Wanda - I particularly like the baby quilt; I have no doubt that, despite playing in the dirt this month, you will have more great finishes to share with us.

I think you had a goo month of finishes! That red quilt is so pretty and I can understand why you would want to keep it!

All are so lovely. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I love being able to spend time outside with longer and warmer days. My dogs love it too. Your garden sure is looking good.

Great finishes for April... Each one is so HAPPY . Snails Trail, sails right to my heart.... Redwork baby quilt is so precious, featuring the printed '30's' prints and TWA is absolutely wonderful with your medley of pastel fabrics.

Wow - the Snail's Trail is fabulous, as is the little quilt with the embroidery and then the big '30s quilt is so cheerful! You had a great month!

How did you prevent your long strip sets from twisting in your trips around the world? I am doing this for the first time and am a bit frustrated.
