I finished this TAW top in time to take it to my program last night. It has 120 different fabrics, 5 different fabrics for each color. It ended up 69" x 92". It would be a huge couch quilt as is or I could add a border and make it into a twin size quilt.
I just realized I hadn't shown the plaid Stack and Slash top since I sewed it together. The workshop for it is on Saturday.
The program went very well. I had 6 lovely helpers to hold the quilts for viewing as well as helpers to bring the quilts and backdrop stands in and out after the program. When I got home I unpacked everything so I could lay the wallhangings flat on the guest bed to prevent fold marks.

Hope you enjoyed your trunk show. Lots of work went into getting this ready. Love the TAW quilt. Chris
I am so glad you had helpers. I am a little envious of those who got to see your presentation. Good to see the 2 quilts. Rest up!
I wish I lived closer. Your trunk shows and workshops look wonderful. I hope the participants and visitors know how lucky they are to see in-person the quilts you show on the best blog on the Internet.
Good work Wanda. i am sure everone loved the quilts. I like the TWA quilt. Take it easy today. Vera.
The TWA is spectacular....there is that shimmer in the red/pink rounds that gives it a nice glow too. Amazing that you could mix 120 fabrics and achieve this one!
Glad you had help for the program. The putting away is more work :)
The Trip Around the World quilt is wonderful. I am glad your show went so well.
I bought a couple of half yard pieces of light flannel to add to my Stack and Slash. It was a Presidents Day sale AND I had a coupon.
The TAW is gorgeous and you had an incredibly productive day.
Wonderful to have so much help at the show - if only they came home with you to unpack :) - the big quilt is beautiful and is perfect the way it is or like you say with a border to make it a little larger.
These two quilts are so different from each other but they are both beautiful. Glad the show went well, but how could it not?
Glad it all went well.
I hope the program was fun and you had a good crowd. Love the TATW!
I LOVE these quilts, Wanda. Would have loved to have been at your quilt show! But I live in NC. I thoroughly enjoyed your Ciel Gallery quilt show in Charlotte, NC.
Love both, and its great to see such contrast in some of your pieces in one post.
Oh, that TAW is completely gorgeous! what a glorious starburst of color! The plaid is really nice, too, very masculine. (Although I know plenty of females who would really like it, too.)
The TAW is even more wonderful now that it is all sewn together. I need another project like a hole in the head, but I love rainbow colors and may just have to make a TAW similar to yours. Have you seen the Gravity quilt? it's an 8-point star that circles the color wheel. I am ready to start the black to light gray background on that one.
The TAW is so wonderful! But....the plaid!! Oh how I wish I could attend that class!!!
Love your TAW. Is this one of the quilts you have a tutorial for?
Not surprised your program went well, but happy to hear that it did.
Now if only the quilt elves would take care of putting all the quilts away again.
TAW is my favorite of all the TAW's you have designed. Just love, love this one it takes my breath away. I am sure your program had all the ladies and maybe gents too in awe of your beautiful designs. Stars and Patches, your February first finish is a delightful array of design and color.

I'm sure that was a wonderful program seeing all those quilts of yours! Your TAW is beautiful! Lots of fabrics that blend so beautifully!
I am glad to hear your program went well. I can imagine there were lots of ouhs and auhs!
