Finally quilting......
I got busy yesterday morning and quilted the Windy City flannel quilt with a large loose meander. It is so nice and soft after quilting. You can see the backing fabric is also in the piecing of the top. I cut binding from the edges that I trimmed off.
Yesterday was our first church sewing circle of the year. We either had snow or subzero temps on the previous 4 dates we would have met. It was in the 50s as predicted. I stopped 3 places on the way home and was so wiped out all I did was read and knit in the evening.

I love flannel quilts. They are my go to gift quilt when someone is ill. It is suppose to get to 56 here today and then tomorrow the hammer drops. I will have to get outside and try and soak in the warmth while it is here.
a nice flannel quilt to wrap up in - heaven! are you keeping it or giving it away? I need to get some flannel in my stash - very little here I just have never used it much

This quilt definitely looks very soft, cuddly, and inviting! How appropriate after the winter your region has had! I was finally able to go to our Quilts of Valor, Eastern Missouri meeting yesterday after all of the bad weather we have had!

My sister told me the weather kids predicted a snow storm tonight. 2 -6 " maybe. She said, she is hoping it will happen because she wants to see it break all history making records ! (*._,*)
