Finish #7 for March.........

Wonky 5 finished at 28" x 29.5".  I had to go back to 2012 in my blog to know which number this one was.  I finished numbers 3 and 4 to send to North Carolina for a gallery show that I shared with a painter in 2013.  Now I need to quilt numbers 1 and 2.

I quilted the pastel strippy quilt yesterday.

I did a large meander with hearts thrown in here and there.  I hope to get the binding sewn on today and finished by tomorrow night for finish #8 in March.

Guess you are feeling chuffed to have another finish on the horizon. That pastel looks so calm.

It is great that even with pastels you managed to show value change.

Both are beauties. Good luck on getting another finish for the month!

I don't normally work with pastels but yours is stunning. It will make a nice sleeping quilt.

love how the pastel has turned out and your quilting is just perfect with this quilt so your color takes stage!

The pastel quilt is going to be so pretty! It's a nice antidote to the dreary weather. You had a very productive day!

Love the quilting on the pastel quilt. That wonky log cabin is such a nice wall hanging.

Pastel quilt stole my heart even before you quilted it ! I love, love hearts, and it is perfect on this quilt.

Wonky #5, a great wall hanging that will complement anyones decor. Your bindings always add a HUGE finish to all pieces...

Your blog is my daily magazine, such a treat to see wonderful creativity, without all those ads we do see in the magazines.

Hi Wanda, I hope you will post more about your pastel quilt. It's so pretty and I want to see the whole thing! Have you already talked about color selection or piecing it? You are prolific and it is fun to see your process and progress.

Both projects turned out so pretty! I usually like the brighter, bolder colors, but sometimes one like this pastel strippy of yours are just a rest for the eyes. The backing is perfect, too.

Love the Wonky scrap quilt. Couldn't find the first four on your blog, though. What's the parameters? It looks as if you've used un-pieced strips all the way around, did you cut those strips or were they all from your scrap basket? And, why did you stop at that size?
