I actually got some quilting done although I don't long arm. It is so exciting to see quilt tops gain the texture and become part of the batting and backing and get birthed into a quilt. Now that I use glue to help bind, I don't mind binding. Loaded pictures on my blog. Can't wait to see it quilted!
Your frame looks like mine, in the ready. I put a quilt on mine last week and it is still there, waiting. And now I have this GIANT box sitting in the doorway so I can't get in there...oh, my!
Finally back into my routine... I enjoyed catching up with all your posts Wanda.
The best one was in person (*._,*) over a week ago. My sister and I had such a wonderful visit with you. I still smile with the memories. Your posted photo's are always so sharp and vivid, but to see them 'up close and personal' takes your breath away.
Love the stars and 16 patch blocks together, they really compliment each other.
I am getting the book with the fractured quilt pattern in it!! Have to wait until it comes to my local quilt shop where I ordered it. Yours is looking fantastic. I did not comment lately--but loved the African fabrics and black accent 16 patches. The last quilt with the blocks off of your cutting table was lovely. Funny, I don't have any fun blocks laying on my cutting table--better get busy. Glad you have your quilt loaded and ready to go. Sometimes getting started is the hardest part--now the fun begins. Have a great weekend.

Hopefully you can get your quilting done. Your pair are great. Progress is rewarding. Chris
Excellent, I have heard that loading the quilt is the "hard" part.
I love the bold fabric choices.

There are so many "behind the scenes" steps needed in the quilting process...Love it when it all comes together, literally....

Lovin' the fractured quilt! Looking forward to seeing the completed top.
Your fabric stash must be museum worthy! You have some amazing fabrics!
That is major progress! Have fun quilting!

you hadn't mentioned getting anything quilted lately - I hope you have success and get several done!
Nice. Hope you have fun with the longarm and get some of your many projects done.
We have a small one on the frame and have started quilting it. I need it for a birthday on Saturday!
