It's sewn together.........

The only difference between this photo and the one yesterday is that the top is sewn together!  It looks even better now.  I will look for borders today.  I'm thinking a dark narrow border and a red print for a little wider one.

I mowed the grass yesterday so I didn't get any other sewing done.

I finished the yellow dishcloth last night.  This one has a YO that is passed over 2 purl stitches in a series of 4 rows for the pattern.  I rarely knit more than 4 rows a day on it.  The other pattern I use is so much easier.

Wow, still that seems like a lot of sewing along with mowing the lawn! I did a bit of gardening with my husband and as a result, I was up half the night using ice and getting Tylenol arthritis.
I love the quilt!

I need to go look for my finished blocks. I bet I have a quilt or two waiting to happen especially if you make blocks all the same size. Chris

The quilt is lovely. What size are the blocks? The dishcloth is very nice, too. Such a pretty stich.

Love these blocks together! I think maybe a dark blue maybe, say navy-ish, for the narrow border? Can't wait for next picture of its progress.

it looks amazing. I like your 16 block quilts alone, but combined with the stars, it's interesting how the 16 patch blocks totally recede into the background.

You are an inspiration -- I am going to cut and sew today and try to complete a project or two this week. Cheers to you and blessings.

like a small border to 'stop' the movement of the center. It is lovely!

Hi Wanda, I enjoy your blog very much. This is a little off topic for today but how do you handle bringing your plants inside for the winter. I'm concerned about insects. Your plants look great. Have a nice day. Nancy

The quilt turned out great. How about that. A quilt out of all found blocks.

It's hard to believe such a beauty could come from two different projects.
