I have decided I will leave the edges curved which was my original intention when I started this series of 5 quilts. I am going to cut bias strips and use them as facings, so they will be sewn on the front like binding and then fully turned to the back of the quilt. I think I need to cut it 1.5" and it will be a half inch wide on the back. I may cut a piece and test it before I cut the whole length that I need. If I decide it isn't going to work then I will do regular facings.
Then I brought the Strips 'n Curves back into the room to do the binding.

The light coming across the quilt like that really shows it well. Those are both lovely.
I do like the way you photographed the first quilt - you are right the light was coming across it just right and you can tell where you quilted it even if you can't see the stitches.

Both quilts are beautiful!
Both quilts are beautiful, I still don't know how you get so much done!
I love that second one. Gorgeous!!
Beautiful works of ART!
I really like the colors in the second quilt! it is pretty the way the center star just pops out!
Such BEAUTIFUL quilts! Great pictures. Love, love, love the first one.
There's something very elegant about stitch-in-the-ditch when it is done correctly. That is really pretty. I like the other one, too.
There's nothing like natural light -- the quilt in the first photo looks like summer to me.
I love this quilt, I may just have to make one. You do such beautiful work.....
Glad you caught that photo... it really shows the detail of your ditch quilting.
Oh WOW the next one is going to be a fun one for you also. (purple and gold)
