I wanted my stripes out of this box and on a shelf where I could see them. I emptied this box and started putting the conversation/I Spy type fabrics in the box after I cut squares for a couple more I Spy quilts for future great-grandchildren. There were a lot of pieces that weren't large enough yardage for me to use for kits but I cut them for my quilts.
That made room for the stripe yardage to fit next another pile of stripes that was already there. Unfortunately the stripe runs the same direction as the front fold so I really can't see the beauty of them like I could on their sides in the box but I know I will use them more now that they are easily accessible.
Other than that I did laundry and started moving summer clothes out of my closet and fall/winter clothes in. Hopefully I'll have a large bag full for Goodwill.

Very pretty assortment of stripes. It is still pretty warm here, but the nights have begun to cool off.
When I saw the title of your post I thought you were moving the fabric out of the house! Egads!! Glad to see they just went from Bin to shelf!
I moved some the other day also. The place I had them was not as noticable. I have been going through my things and need to replace several of them. Good Luck on that project. Chris
What a wonderful collection of stripes!
Your stash just amazes me. How inspiring it must be to see all that color!!!!
Beautiful stripe collection!
Great stripe collection for sure:) Love those stripes!
What is that saying... something about "whoever gets to heaven with the most fabric wins"... (*._,*) Your stripes are full of inspirational, "Exuberant Color". Wouldn't have expected anything else.
Have fun going through your closet.

Okay, this is the first time I heard of anyone planning quilts for their great grandchildren. No wonder you get so much done, you plan ahead. Looking forward to what goodies u make with the stripes.
What a fabulous collection of stripes! I'd be tempted to use some of them for bindings as I love how a bias binding made with striped fabrics looks.
I love stripes.
What fun...nothing nicer than playing with your stashandthen standing back and admiring the beautiful yummy fabric
