Packaging, mailing, cleaning......

I took my bright colorwash sample off the wall, neatly packaged and labeled in case I want to sew it.  I need all of the design walls cleaned off by Monday for my company.  I spent the entire morning packaging kits to be ready to mail them right after lunch.  Then I spent the afternoon packaging more that will be ready to mail today.  After that I got back to cleaning off tables in the basement.  It doesn't sound like a very exciting day but it was exciting to see table tops again.  I slipped in a few games of Spider Solitaire too so it wasn't all work.
Here are 2 favorite batiks I pulled out when I was choosing for my kits.  I knew they wouldn't work for that but I wanted to keep them out and use them.  I won't use them together, just photographed them together.

What a project cutting all those kits... I'm sure it's nice to be getting things back in order, a necessary part of the creative process!

And Spider Solitaire is good for you!

I have to agree with you on your favorites. I just bought two 1-yard cuts of the leaf batik, but in different colors. I couldn't resist!

I think you had a lot of work getting those kits ready - bet you will be glad to be done.

You are so organized Wanda! Look at all those little printed labels! Beautiful batiks and I recently bought a fat quarter that reminds me of the one with leaves on it! I actually like to sneak in games of Spider Solitaire too!

I always admire your organization. Spider Solitaire...aha! I wondered what you did to switch gears. I love solitaire, also.

I can surely see why those two batiks are your favorite. They are really special, and just nice to look at.

79 degrees already and it is only 10:00 am ~ A typical IL. morning in your long hot summer.

p.s. 61 degrees here right now.

How do you get your fabrics so flat and tidy? Mine seem to be all different sizes. Gorgeous colors. Do you keep your Kaffe fabrics and solids separate?
