One block, 6 fabrics......

When I cut the fat eighths of hand dyed fabric with my Studio cutter I get 12 triangles and I only need 9 per block.  That is my little pile of leftover 3's and a block made from 6 of the 3's.  It is fun to go back through and see how many similar ones I can find to come up with 9 of each color that I'm using.

Sometimes I have more fun figuring out what to do with the leftovers than I do making the original quilt. Love the look your are getting with your hand dyed fabrics. Very pretty The print zigzags are pretty too.

I love that! You know that batiks and hand dyes are my absolute favorite fabrics.

very nice, what an easy idea, just reversing your squares. I like it.

There's something about this that is so special. It almost looks like shimmering water. So very beautiful!

I'm loving your 'zig zag' in batiks! MIne is just a hodgepodge of scraps but pretty addictive!

Picking up the leftover pieces and making the block is so much fun! It hardly looks like they came from different fabrics. Nice block.
