I haven't abandoned this project, just been a little busy lately........ I added some more sewn squares to the design wall yesterday.
I have plenty of Kaffe triangles cut but.......
......I had run out of these. Three cranks through my die cutter and I have 96 triangles and I'm ready to sew.
I rarely catch a bird in flight while I am taking my photos. This sparrow was hanging on to the stalk and eating the seeds when I grabbed the camera. When I snapped the shutter, he had just taken off.
Every time I see your Zig-Zag it makes me smile. It is truly gorgeous. It is so much fun to watch your pieces grow.
Have you ever posted a photographed of your cutter? You know how much I quilt and I am not familiar with a die cutter of any kind. I guess I could cruise the quilt section at Joanne Fabrics to see one. ?

I love your zig zag quilt - have put it on my wish list:-)
Your quilt is looking good! Amazing how fast the little bird's wings are beating.
This will be a striking quilt, Wanda. It's hard to believe there's a product that can make you work faster than you already do!
I LOVE your zig zag quilt! The movement in it is amazing, I just spend a little time looking at it. Will have to put one on my to do list:)
love the zig zag. Sometimes we get busy and it takes awhile to get into a new project.

I'm loving the combo of the dots and the bright florals - this is beautiful. How large will it be?
beautiful fabric and amazing quilt from such a simple zig zag. You have a great eye for color!
This is going to be a striking quilt. Neat action picture!
The dot goes wonderfully with the bold prints.
Is the dot fabric new?
I really like your choice of gray as a contrasting neutral. Very effective.
Ha! I'll bet that's how you look buzzing around your studio. LOL
Your zig zag quilt looks fabulous. I love the grey dots. I used that on a quilt and just love the looks of it.

Wonderful quilt. Which size triangles did you cut? 6.5"?
I love those dots, and love how they make an odd pattern when they are sewn to each other.
This is really a fun quilt!
I love your warm Kaffe prints with the cooler gray dots.
I am totally in love with your polka dot chevron quilt! Can't wait to see it finished!
