I'm home.......

I left my daughter's house at 9:30 a.m. yesterday and got home at 2 p.m.  That would be 3 p.m. her time so a 2 hour flight takes 5.5 hours from door to door.  I was too exhausted to do more than grocery shop and fill the bird feeders.  I'm just posting 2 more photos from my show because I want to remind everyone that the show continues until June 30.  This shot shows the sales counter with the display behind it.
I accidentally pressed the  button on my camera as I was lowering it and got a tilted photo that is amazingly in focus.  It was taken the day we were setting up and still has a ladder in the photo.  This shows the neat ceiling that was covered with a drop ceiling when they took possession of the building.
Hopefully I will have some energy today and get back to my studio.

Glad you made it home safe and sound... time for resting up now! You've been busy for a long time getting ready for the show... and then the show and classes!

Fun to go but No Place Like Home. Also it was very nice to have your show where family was. Better than a hotel room. So glad it was a great experience for you. Chris

I certainly enjoyed the show even though I wasn't there - thanks for sharing it. I'm glad you enjoyed it too and that you were able to do this.

Welcome home! Your show was wonderful, although I truly wish I were there to see all your glorious quilts in person.

I hope you had a good night's rest. I just have a feeling you will be starting work early today to make up for "lost time" ha ha.

Welcome home. I am so happy for you: visiting with your daughter, a show of your own, great classes, seeing people who already read your blog and sales, too. Now let yourself rest a little and then BACK TO WORK!!

Glad you made it home safe and sound. Now get some rest. You deserve it. It made me smile when I read that you had filled the bird feeders even though you were totally exhausted - always thinking of others. And, BTW, I love that tilted photo!

I really enjoyed the photos of the quilt show, nice to see some them displayed together, it is so colorful. They seem to have a nice gallery. Glad the classes went well,

Wanda, congratulations! The show was super, but best of all, meeting you this past week was a highlight of my vacation in South Carolina. May you have a good day of rest and enjoy time in your studio doing what you are so talented in doing!

Hi Wanda

Glad you made it home safe and sound!
I want to say Thank you for a wonderful class and show. I love your quilts even more in person.

I just home yesterday, we made a side trip, never got to Mary Jo's.

My colorwash class pc went on the wall last night, plan to study it for awhile before I sew it together.

Thanks again for a great day!!

A week in the life of Wanda... has me breathless ! Just a wonderful experience for all of us that you have shared every day preparations for months on end. And then to end with your Spectacular show. I don't think Martha Stewart could keep up with you ! She has her entourage to help with every project. And you do it ALL yourself ! You can be so proud.

Hi Wanda, I went to the gallery yesterday afternoon. The colors and the quilts are amazing. The pictures do not really do justice to the colors. I think it was sew appropriate that your quilts were displayed in a mosaic gallery. I enjoyed it very much. I think I may have to start collecting Kaffe and batiks and make a few cobblestones of my own.

Welcome home! Don't worry about being super productive right away -- let the experience run its course as you re-adjust.

Love that accidental photo!

Hi Wanda,
Love the accidental photo! The Freudian slip shows just how gallery-worthy your work is (i.e. it fits right in).

Glad you made it home safe and sound!
