Wonky 1 and 2

I finally pressed the 2 pieces and put them up on my design walls so I can see what they really look like.  I have added the photo of the 2 together laying flat on a table for comparison.  I can see I really need to add a dark strip on the right and bottom of the one on the right.
There is more of an optical illusion of depth when you are looking straight at them on a wall.  Laying flat they are just a bunch of pretty fabrics sewn together.

They look 3D. I like them :)

these are so much neater than if you had used even equal strips. Of course you use of color also makes them wonderful.

Love the play with our depth perception, must be more in person. Colors look great, agree with add some dark strips to Wonky 2.

I think they're lovely not matter which way they are!

I definitely get the 3D doorways effect, did you know they would do that or was that just a surprise? I love it!

You are right.... they look totally different on the wall, looking straight at them... fun to study for awhile.

They DO look like doorways - Alice type doorways down that hallway that gets smaller and smaller and smaller......

I love them! There is a lot of depth when they are hanging. How odd that they look so different when on a table. Glad you are home and able to create again. Hope your show continues to go well.

Love the depth. Your use of value is stupendous. I want to be like you when I grow up!
