Quilting finished?

I just did randomly placed, kind of parallel lines with the biggest spaces about 1".  I think it is all quilted, but I might go back in and add one more line in each zig zag.

I decided to go ahead and trim it anyway because it won't get distorted even if I go back and add more lines of quilting.  I'll take a good look at it this morning and decide.  Then I can cut the binding for the 2 quilts and finish them.

I see that you didn't stitch in the ditch. I like that. Hope you get the binding done on both of them today. I always get excited when I am this close to a finish.

I am sure it feels good to get one quilted. I am working on two right now. Chris

Hello Wanda! You have so wonderful quilts and I love the colours you use! Do you handpaint fabrics? Some of them look handpainted! I'm still so new in quilting but I love it! 'Unfortunately' I love also knitting and crocheting and...and...so I have to share my time. You give me always inspiration and I think now I go to sew...

if I ever start to machine quilt this is how I would do them - I like the simple straight lines.

What a GREAT idea! I've been pondering over and over how to quilt my son's quilt, and this method has got me thinking!

Thanks for sharing!!!

I quilted my zig zap quilt the other day with diagonal parallel lines. I wish I had seen this first.

Really like how you are quilting ..... the straight lines and random too!

Could you explain more about the distortion you mentioned? How does trimming the quilt help. Am new to machine quilting and have done only a few hand quilted projects.

What kind of machine are you using on your projects? I have a Bernina 830 ..... am wondering if I could use it for smaller projects? What kind of foot do you use?

Thanks for your help.

Beautiful! I like the randomly spaced straight lines. I looks cool without being difficult. I might steal that idea. ;)
