2 busy days, one tired body.............

After standing most of the day at work yesterday I decided to sit and sew last night instead of working on the yellow quilt.  I made 8 more Winding Ways blocks.  I think I need to make it my Tuesday night project every week because I watch 3 hours of TV that night.  If I get into a routine I may actually have a quilt some day.

At least it was a productive day. A routine usually helps me to get quilt tops done too! Your Winding Way is coming along nicely.

The blocks are looking great! Do you use a curve master foot?

How can you quilt and watch tv at the same time? Maybe my multi-tasking abilities are not as good as they should be ;)
I love your winding ways blocks - it's one of my favourite patterns!

OH, that is going to be a stunning quilt. I love Winding Ways quilts and those batiks really make it wonderful!

Question: Do you do the winding ways blocks on the machine or by hand?

I love to sew (on the machine) while I am "watching" TV. Otherwise the TV time seems like such a waste.

My first look at a winding way block. And, of course, when you do your magic with it, it is amazing!

I have always loved that pattern and you are doing a great jobe with it.

Nice blocks! I like to "watch/listen" to tv also when I sew but find it difficult to machine sew at the same time and tend to hand quilt or do hand work at that time.

I love your Winding Ways! Good for you for multi-tasking. Watching television in the evenings is a nice down-time, but with nothing to sew it would be a waste of time, for me anyway.

I enjoy seeing your fabric combinations with all your creative designs. When I first opened up your post this morning those 'mirage' of circles jumped right out at me.

Just beautiful, and the secondary circle pattern makes it (with those fabrics) look somehow otherworldly.

How interesting that the big curves are starting to show with just these 12 blocks.
I usually don't have a problem with TV distracting me. There's so little on that interests me. I've become my mother. I could never understand why she didn't want to watch the "exciting" things I was watching.

Do you have your sewing machine in the living room? There isn't room in my quilt room for a tv and I like to sew w/my machine in its cabinet. I'd like to get more sewing done but after work I seem to need to veg out in my comfy chair watching my recorded programs. I like the cooking channel. I so love reading your blog. It's so inspirational. Hilary

This block makes such a statement! I love that secondary pattern you get with more of the blocks together. Oh Wanda, this is going to be another stunner!

Hand pieced? either way, it's going to be beautiful. I think an Accu cutter would be great for a block like this.
