4 more layouts on a snowy day

Gene, I'm not sure if this is what you meant.............. or this................
By the time I tried those 2 I thought I might as well try a couple more.......4 big blocks.....I like the way the center looks raised.
and a big zig zag. I like this last one but don't think I will sew them that way. At least that's what I think right now. I'll check it again after lunch. I shoveled abut 4" this morning and the snow seems to be tapering off. They say it will be back this afternoon.

I really like the last one; the zig-zag.

By the way, I combined two of your ideas last night: I made myself a "european" pillowcase for my buckwheat hulls pillow from Kaffe Fassett fabric... I know YOU know how beautiful it is!

I love the top one best. These blocks just exude joy.

I like No. 2 from the previous post, the ones with the corners pointing out... have fun pondering the options!!

I vote for the big blocks.

It is starling to see the black centers as windows into a starry night.

I love #1 & 2 from the last post and the zig-zag from this one. Very cool blocks! We are waiting for the snow to begin here again. This will be the first time I ever remember having 3 snows piled on the ground at once and it sounds like we may have a 4th on the way!

The top one is exactly what I meant. I like that. But I also like the first one on the other post.
I like the four big blocks, that look like windows, but for some reason they make me feel like I am falling.

Fantastic! I'm torn between the first and third photo. :-)

There are WAY too many choices for me to try to decide which I like best. LOL

I don't know if anyone has suggested this, but how about on point?

Love these blocks any way you turn them!

These blocks are zippy and exciting and definitely exuberant. I like Anya's suggestion about trying on point, but any way, they'll be energetic.

I like the first one you did the other day. The dark center gives a dimensional look that is lost in these other versions.

This is a great looking quilt, anyway you do it.

I'm enjoying this show and play you have going on here. I'm keeping my choice of fav's to myself as a sort of personal surprise, ya know, to see if we land in the same place. ;) Snow is very heavy as I recall. That would be in the olden days... being as olden as I am. hee.

You don't get the rest with the bottom layout, nor the top two. But they still look good.

I really like the second picture posted under the heading 16 blocks completed. I've been off the pc for a few days and you've got 2 new quilt tops pieced! Love this off centered log cabin, fun with the dotty centers!

Oh wow, what tough choices! I love them all - your blocks are so wonderful, how could you go wrong with any of those layouts? But I have to say my fave is #4 today - it IS unexpected...and exciting!

Stop by my blog...I'm having a giveaway for my 2 year blogiversary!

These blocks are great. You can not go wrong with any layout.

I really like teh last two arrangements. The big zig zag looks like a modern antique and I'm a sucker for the wonky squares made from off center log cabins -- the four big blocks are wonderfully bold.

I still like the first one on the previous post best, though they all look nice.

oh Wow! I think you need to make another 6 quilt or so!

It is interesting how many different patterns you cab get from the same block. They all look great. Do you have a long arm to quilt your quilts?
