I had to try every block in the same position too. I like this one.
You can see on this block below that I pieced strips together too because there were way too many short ends left over. I just matched widths of strips and put any two together that were the same width. I'll leave the blocks up on the design wall for a couple days and then decide its final layout.

I like all the layouts but I think I like the first most.
Did you try the last layout with every other row going the opposite direction? I am trying to envision that layout and would love to see it if you try it.
I am loving these blocks and may have to try this for myself.
I like the first layout best too. I think this is my favorite quilt of all! Keep up the great, inspiring work!
I love the black and white along with all the color. The first arrangement is my favorite.
We are expecting snow again today also, 18 to 24 more inches.
WOW, this is the you we know and love!!
I enjoy the inspiration I get from just looking.
The first one is my favorite too, it has so much depth.

I love the first one too. A cat would walk carefully on it, not to fall down in the black holes.
What a treasure of colourful material you have!
The very first one is the MOST amazing. How graphic!
I like the third one best. It looks like wonky, very bright attic windows. I'll send some of our snow if you don't get enough.
WOW!! I love the 3-D effect. The first layout almost jumps through the computer screen at me. This is so cool! I like all the layouts but the first one just grabbed me.
Wow, wow, and wow!! Now I need to make myself one. If I haven't said it before, (which I think I have many times) you are such an inspiration! The amaryllis looks fantastic.
The squares look like my view outside the window last night as the snow started. Beautiful!
I like all of the layouts but I like the last layout best. I hope you don't get a bad storm coming. We might get more that same day too.

I might be the exception but I really like the second option. I can't wait to see what you decide on.
Oh my gosh I love the first layout it is mesmerizing. Just wonderful.
I like them all, but the third one is my favorite, then the second one. I'd like to see if like Gene Black suggested also. Hannah
Wanda, What fun this must have been! I cannot decide which one I like best. Whichever one you choose will be outstanding. I may have to try this soon. We are supposed to get up to 14 inches of snow as well. I went into work and the roads were not so good. I decided to come home after an hour or so, and the roads were even worse yet! It's time to hunker down, but I don't mind more "free" time to sew.
Those first two make it look very three-dimensional...but I like them all. It's very, well, exuberant!
I shoveled about 4" at 7am, and it's coming down harder now. Snow day!
LOVE the first one. It's so dimensional!!!!
Oh, those blocks are SO BEAUTIFUL. I love all your layouts..you have such an EYE for all that! And your flowers are beautimous, too!!
Love the first as well, speaking of which it seems that's what that black fabric does, draws you into each block like the bottom of a well.
Wow!! I am crazy about the first layout.........sort of like looking down at the gameboard "Clue" at the "Mansion Wanda Built." Love the polka dot floors!!! It's fascinating.
One of the best scrap quilts I've ever seen! If it were my quilt I would go with the top layout. It sings to me.
Just stunning Wanda. The blocks look 3D. I love all the layouts but the first one is my favourite.
I like #3 the best, love the depth you get with the attic window effect! Sharon.
Love these blocks that can swing from one great design to another. These blocks are shouting Mardi Gras.

p.s. Just can not believe your Amaryllis !
Number 2 layout gets my vote! Your work never ceases to amaze me, I check for your posts everyday to see what new and wonderful treat you have to share! The amaryllis is beautiful too with so many blooms!

Luscious luscious color! I love the depth achieved in the last one. It just draws you in.
Another winner Wanda....we are experiencing the same snow storm as you. It is covering up all the dirty snow banks with fresh sparkly white again.
JACKPOT!!! Wig.
I like #s 2 and 3. Number two dances and number three is just cool - like February windows in the storm.
My vote - all the blocks in the same position with the black square in the lower right hand corner! Very striking Wanda.
I like the first layout, it looks 3d.
I'm loving this quilt you are making. The colors are so fun. I also really enjoy all the layout possibilities you share with your readers.
