A Few more choices

I chose a few more fabrics for blocks and pieced them last night. I also made 2 more star blocks with a different fabric for the background.
It is now 60.5" wide and 75.5" long. All I have to decide now it if I want to make it one more row longer.
I could also still pull out the rest of the light blocks and change them out with more star blocks.
I'll think about it for awhile. I started sewing together another quilt that I had up on a design wall so I can sew and sneak glances at this one and decide if it is done.

I love the fact that you have added more stars. I do like it without the light blocks too. Looks fantastic.

Wonderful quilt! I also like the stars in place of the lighter H's. Can't wait to see the final results!

Hi Wanda,
I have to say every now and then I see something you're working on and think maybe this will be the one I'm not that nuts about! This one was one of those BUT....as usual, I was wrong!!!! (I really should know better)! I think the stars did it....they are perfect!!! They add that special something that makes this one so gorgeous!!! And, of course, the fabrics you choose always knock my socks off! I love that you do close-up pics so we can really see them.

This is an amazing quilt Wanda! It is so fun to watch you put these together (seems effortlessly) and see these original creations! Thank you again.

It really looks great and I love how the stars break it up so nicely. Kaffe has the greatest fabrics for a project like that.

I love this one, Wanda! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my last name is Hauser! These letter quilts would make great wedding gifts- with the first letter of the last name of the new couple. Hmmmm..... my sons and their ladies might have one of these in their futures....
As always- thanks for the inspiration. I love your blog.

I like the stars, but I think you need one more or three more--odd number.

It's lovely.

The accent star blocks add such a punch - I am going to have to try that in one of my quilts. Great idea and wonderful balance.

The stars are great and quite appropriate since you shine in your quilting..."H".

The stars look great in there. And personally, I like a few of the lights in there to add some luminosity.

Leave the light ones in - they make the top dance!!! The stars are lovely. My S3 is Halley (cos he was born when Halley's Comet was here) - I reckon he may well get a H Quilt for Christmas...
Thank you for the idea and the inspiration.
Hugs,
Jasmine

Hi Wanda,
Your Hs are so rich! I like the star additions too. Wondering how you thought of adding in some sparkler blocks?
Hope your house is just about in shape.
It's pie baking and last minute cleaning for me tomorrow.

What fun. I really like it. Now I wonder if there would be a way to make one of Bs. The tricky part would be to make a "dent" in the middle to make it look like a B and not two stacked boxes.

Delicious. Now I wonder if I could do this with the letter B. The only tricky part with making "dent" to indicate the middle and keep it from looking like two stacked boxes.

I love the quilt. The addition of the stars give it a touch of surprise.

Like Bonnie, I'm thinking about other letters. I know it can be done, because long, long ago, I learned how to cut letters for bulletin boards that way.
