Low key day

This is one of the designs in the new Hoffman batik spring line.  I ordered it in 4 colors because I like it so much.  I got them from Batiks Plus which gives you 40" yards.  No store near me carries the new Hoffman line so I have to rely on the internet.
I caught up on a lot of things that I had let go in the last week and didn't get any closer to fabric than taking this picture.  I have a finishing class to teach today and also have to take Dad to the Dr.  I decided to treat myself to a movie last night and went to see "Letters to Juliet".  It was just what I needed to relax a bit.

Really pretty batiks! I must check that out. Glad you had a chance to relax a little with a movie. Sometimes that is just the thing!

I love those batiks. Cutting them up would really make some interesting designs. I think as busy women we need to give ourselves a low key day once in a while and often we aren't willing to.

I saw these in the Hancocks of Paducah catalog and put them on my wish list ... they're even more gorgeous in your photo ... trying to resist ...

Those batiks are beautiful -- no wonder you bought in 4 colours!

oooooooh, those are nice. I am lucky enough to live close enough to both Hoffman and Kaufman and visit them frequently. I see a trip coming up.

oooooh I bought the brown one from them and now I think I need to go back and get those other two.

Hope your Dad is doing well, I take my mother in tomorrow again. She gave a lot to me growing up so I can do this for her now.

Lovely fun batiks - I am sure you will do something terrific with them.
How did you like the movie? I thought I might try and go with my son's Girlfriend-
Looking forward to seeing your new projects.
I am about a third of the way through report cards.
Lots to do yet! Onward and upward.
Regards,
Anna

Great batiks. When you order them, how much yardage do you order?
