Quilting......................

I got this little baby quilt quilted last night.  I wasn't sure how I was going to quilt it but ended up ditch quilting the center and wavy lines in the border.  I'll get it trimmed today and cut the binding.  Hopefully I'll get the binding sewn on too and get stared basting another baby quilt.

I pulled out my #48 Flower Basket Kaffe fabric to see if it will work with the 16 patch blocks.  I need to do some measuring to see if it can be cut to a size that will work.

It's close to the end of the month so I think I'll concentrate on finishing things for the next few days.  All the while I'll be thinking about what my next new project will be and maybe pull some fabrics for it.

Nice flower basket fabric--really goes well with your 16 patch blocks...
32 here and snowing pretty well again...AND our coffee maker just died on us--before we had even a cuppa ;((((( And so it goes...

#48 Kaffe is a new-to-me fabric, but it certainly plays nicely with the 16-patch blocks. I hope you have enough.

I does look like you will have enough time to at least get that baby quilt finished before the end of the month. That flower basket fabric looks amazing with those 16 patch blocks! Who would have thought? If you decided to fussy cut that fabric, I sure hope you have enough.

That is a Kaffe fabric I don’t think I’ve seen before. Very beautiful and rather reproduction like. I hope you have enough too! -Roxanne

Forgot to add that those blocks make me think of bunnies. Maybe it’s the time of year. -R

Interesting baby quilt. It would be hard for me to decide how to quilt it. You made good choices. It's always fun to consider, isn't it? The Flower Basket fabric works well with your 16 patches. Are you going to border or alternate? Time will tell and I'll look forward to your decision there, too.

I don't remember that baby quilt and will be interested to see the whole front when you are done.
