I have started the hand stitching on the binding but didn't finish it last night.
Earlier in the day I finished the third of the last 3 dishcloths I had on the needles. Now I can start 3 more.
The big beautiful tree across the street lost all of its leaves on the last few windy days. My tree in the backyard turns color later so it still has a lot of leaves. This is the view from the north.
This view from the south shows a lot more bare spots because the wind was from the south.
There are lots of leaves on the ground. In the foreground of this photo is a Hosta that you can see was nipped by a heavy frost or a freeze, not sure which we had a couple nights ago. There are some hostas still standing in more sheltered areas but I think they will all be gone after this weekend.

The binding you used is perfect. Nice all the trees come into color separately so you have longer to enjoy the fall beauty.
Good morning;))) we've only had a light frost so far here; and most of our leaves have fallen--the only greenery left are the climbing vines...looking like early Winter...
Binding color is perfect for these little pieces, Wanda. I am still pretty much resting; did finish up binding on 4 little pieces though...
Hugs for a great weekend, Julierose
Love the binding as that fabric nicely frames the fabrics!
Cute dishcloth and love the colors, too.
The many basket oaks we have are losing their leaves rapidly and the squirrels enjoy running through the leaves because they sound like they're elephants!
Hugs!
I love all the yellow leafs - do you have someone rake or mulch your leafs? We use a blower to get them off of our large deck/porch area and then when the last of them fall in December usually take the riding lawn mower out and chop them all up letting them stay on the ground.
Autumn in the works in Sandwich, IL. As well as in your studios. Always fun to check in on your posts for the day.
Trees here are in full color but with the predicted below freezing nights starting Sunday, they will start falling faster than they have been. Enjoying our very golden days for now.
