Starting a new one................

There are 2 blocks of each combination except one so this is half of the blocks.  Getting them up on the wall helps me see what colors and values need  more representation.  After I make about 5 more combinations I'll continue with the design.  I ran the blocks crosswise on the last one of these and thought I would do a vertical setting on this one.  I'm just playing with some ideas here for a quick small quilt.

I need to make a list of all of my started quilts and see which one I want to work on next.  Also I need to quilt a couple baby quilts.  This seems like a good week to make lists.

I spent the morning making two batches of Chex Mix to send with traveling family for Thanksgiving.  They are going to arrive Tuesday afternoon so that gives them plenty of time to enjoy this before they have turkey dinner.

I’m making Chex mix today :-). I long ago added Honey Nut Cheerios to mine and everyone requests Grandma Cherie’s kind, lol.

Pretty matches of fabrics in this one, Wanda--the darker bands look almost solid against the lighter ones--;))) nice start....
I slept in a bit this morning and am having my coffee--late for me!! 46 here and overcast; we are still awaiting the promised rain showers...
Today is basic cleaning day here: dusting, vacuuming etc.; tomorrow I will be gathering dishes, setting up the table, etc.
Busy days--but I took a bit of time yesterday for some crafting--hope to quilt a few lines later on....bit by bit, right?
hugs, Julierose

Will you have more narrow bands? In the same gray/black? It's good to have people to make Chex Mix for, so you can have just enough for yourself.

A delightful show to see with all your bands of prints makes me smile. And treats for your families. Shows its holiday time for all the Hanson’s.

Pretty quilt top! I have been thinking about a list for what I want to get done over Thanksgiving. Having four days off in a row is happy time for me! The Chex mix looks yummy!

I love your strippy quilt. And I haven't had chexmix in ages - your post spurred me to google for the recipe. Now I'll have to make some!

love the new design. I don't think I have ever made Chex mix! I like it but it is not a number 1 asked for item in my family
