First quilt top finished in November 2025

The corner blocks were sewn yesterday morning and then I just kept working on it.  In the afternoon it was pressed and photographed and measured. It is 66.5" x 84". The difference between this one and the original Rosy (Kaffe) pattern is that I added one more row of small squares in the border.  I used 3" finished squares in the 9 patch in this quilt and used 2" finished squares in my green Rosy quilt.  I'm glad I made this one but I like my green one best.

This gives a better idea of the size.  The double design wall is 84" tall and 98" wide.

My cacti are striped early in the  morning before I open the blinds.  We have had sunshine for 2 days.

Oh, us too, two days of sunshine and the sun is coming up on day three! Seeing the purple Rosy quilt on your double design wall really does give a better perspective of its size.

Your cacti blooms are beautiful! We are expecting a high lf 75 degrees and clouds most of the day. I hope I can spend time on my projects this week. Except for PT, most activites have been cancelled.

Purple Rosy is a delight and am surprised at its size!
Funny to see striped cacti from the shadows of the blinds.
Warmish days here in the low 60s*F but low 30s*F chill overnight.
What's next, Wanda?!!

Hugs!

Purple and Green Rosy’s are indeed creative works of art. I can see both took hours of thought and labor. And know you loved every minute of it.

The corners look great! I sure enjoyed the sunshine yesterday. It is forecasted to get to 51 today. We have to enjoy these days since they will unfortunately be gone soon.

after all the thought and redesign for the corners it looks great and you solved the problems you were having. Instead of sun we are getting rain off and on this week and it is chilly breeze and light rain still have a little more than an inch since 3 AM when thunder woke me up.

Both Rosies are so beautiful Wanda--I would be hard-pressed to choose one..
.isn't it great that your cacti are blooming so profusely? Mine have dropped some flowers and I don't really see any others ready to come out..I really do have to separate them this year...

I did my final (I hope) T-Day shopping this morning...I spent the afternoon doing a bit of crafting--made a couple bead garlands
lots of fun!! hugs, Julierose

Love both the purple and the green version and couldn't possibly choose a favorite. Maybe a mix of purple and green next time?? Just a thought-
