One more audition..............

More fabrics were auditioned yesterday for the coping strips and this is the only one I'm considering.

I cut some more strips for my other project and sewed them last night.  I pressed the first batch made previously while I was in the basement doing laundry.

We've had some gray days and today they say we will have sunshine and 50 degrees.

The purple coping strips are looking good, I think. :)))
27 here this morning and it's a gray one--all of our leaves--just about--are now down and Tom will do his final mowing today...
and so the Season is beginning to look really Winterish now...
Hugs, Julierose

If it is just the corner with the strip, would go with the corner without the strip, but I am sure you will stare at this for a while and decide what you like best. I am hoping we get a warmer day here so I can get the leaves blown to the back again. I can't believe how many I have in my front yard and I don't even have a deciduous tree in my front yard. They all came from the neighbor's houses!

For your corner squares, what if you try 9-patches where the pieces adjacent to the borders are the same size as the border blocks and the other patches are smaller squares? This means some of the patches would actually be slightly rectangular. But the borders might visually flow into the corners.

Nice corner solution and fabric!
Love the new project fabrics, too, and you're on a roll as usual. You're amazing!
Happy sunshiny day!

Hugs!

You could just carry on with the border layout. Then it would be a complete frame around the quilt

I like the arrangement in the middle picture
