Not much snow..................

It was in the low 20s when I got up yesterday so I hurried to get photos before the sun melted the snow.

You will have to look closely to see the snow we got.  It is mostly on fallen leaves.

There was a little more snow in the backyard.  We rarely get much of the lake effect snow so I wasn't expecting much.

I sewed a few sections of 6 three inch squares for the border blocks.  There is lots more to do.

I started two of the next three dishcloths.  I will knit them all up to 44 stitches and then start the decrease rows on all of them.

I am not ready for it to be so cold already. I have some stuff to do outside. It is supposed to warm up this weekend into the high 50's so I am going to have to get out there and get done what needs to get done.

Our weather has turned cooler this week and become quite pleasant. How many dishcloths do you have in your inventory now?

No snow as yet--but 32 this morning with an awful wind chill --our supermarket is situated right near the CT River so it's like a wind tunnel in the parking lot. My Puffy coat made its first appearance this morning early!!
Pretty purple fabric blocks...you have a great variety...
hugs, Julierose

Delicious purple fabrics and I have to wonder why I never bought more purples?
I love snow but only if I can stay indoors! As a teen in suburban Chicago, my Dad gave me a snow shovel for our first Christmas there. I was not impressed but I still have it and use it under duress.

Hugs!

The storm was a perfect example of lake effect snow. Such a pretty sight yesterday to see golden leaves on top of the white stuff.

I too have wondered how many dish cloths you have in your stash ? They last forever so I assume you gift most of them away. Nice post today.

a couple readers from Wisconsin had couple inches of snow you must not have missed more by much. It was very windy here again, I don't know what the wind chill was but I had to pick up a prescription and you could tell the difference in town compared to here on the ridge - the car door blew right out from my hand when I opened it when I got home

W got slightly more snow here on the Plateau than you did. But the sun came out today and melted it quickly.
