Standing at the design wall didn't sound appealing to me yesterday so I got 2 boxes of flannel pieces off a shelf in my studio.
I decided bullseye blocks was a nice mindless project. They will probably be made into a baby quilt.
They haven't had their final press yet so they look a little crooked. Some of them used a variety of short pieces and others were just 3 fabrics for the whole block.
I still have tomatoes ripening in the garage. A lot of them are golf ball size or smaller but they taste great, better than the ones I could buy at the grocery store.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my US readers. We have a snowstorm headed our way for Saturday and Sunday and then temperatures in the 20s on Monday and Tuesday. December is going to look like winter right from day one.

Happy Thanksgiving! The flannels are perfect for the bullseye blocks, we're having a cold front today, temps are in the 30's & no warming up in sight,we get snow once in a blue moon
Happy Thanksgiving to you also!
Happy Thanksgiving! Your flannel bullseye blocks, some with 3 and some with more flannels remind me of Patty’s recent foray into flannel quilts ;- )
Cozy flannel -- a good plan! Happy Thanksgiving, Wanda.
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving, Wanda! Nothing tastes better than home grown tomatoes. That's why I keep trying.
Those blocks will be such a cozy quilt. Love the brown and the flannels and the scrappiness! Happy Thanksgiving!

I don't think you have worked with flannel for awhile. Hope you do your year end recap.
I also have tomatoes ripening that I just pulled from the greenhouse.
Have a happy Thanksgiving. I will be in the kitchen most of the day ...
I'm SO not ready for the forecast snow Saturday-Sunday over here in eastern Iowa! As much as we might think winter has set in and will stick around, I would not bet against 70 degrees and thunderstorms for Christmas. No flannel project in progress here, so I'll be cuddling up with a QOV top & backing getting it ready to turn in to the QOV group on the 11th for quilting.
Those tomatoes look tasty!
“Mindless sewing” you say turned out to be great looking ‘Bullseye’ blocks. I can already in-vision them in cuddly baby quilt. . . Wishing you a thankful happy Thanksgiving day.
Love your Bull's Eye flannel blocks and now you've got me eyeing my flannels. Oh, dear!
Cold here, but no snow in the forecast yet.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Hugs!
Happy Thanksgiving! Your flannel blocks have me intrigued! I have plenty of leftover bits that need a home. I will be watching to see how you put them together.
