Five more stars are added to the design wall. These are 12" stars so 35 blocks would make a 60" x 84" quilt top. I could stop at 24 blocks for a 48" x 72" quilt if I get bored making blocks. There is always the option of a border too. I have 5 more combinations ready to sew and I might get them done today.
I worked on the hand stitching of the binding on this one a couple times yesterday. I have one short side and a half of a long side done. I already have 2 finishes for this month so if it gets done, great, and if it doesn't, it's okay.
It was 27 degrees yesterday with 23 predicted for today. I'll get some use out of my heavy winter coat this year. Most winters I get by with a mid-weight jacket and I just don't go out on the really frigid days.

Those stars are really lovely;))) You got a lot done yesterday...
34 here this morning; up early as I was in bed by 9 pm after yesterday's celebration..Great day, if a bit tiring...hugs, Julierose
I love the dotted backing and binding.
Your stars are striking.. I’m guessing with the frigid weather, you’ll get quite a bit more of the binding done today and predict a third finish for November :)
Marvelous stars and that polka-dot backing and binding is just the pop to add more joy to your quilt!
Remember when this used to be the day for "Black Friday" sales instead of those sales during the whole month?
Hugs!
Such a treat to see more stars and progress on your binding. Your passion for creating quilts on a daily basis just warms my heart.
I love that print for the back and binding that you are working on. I think last winter I wore a heavier winter jacket maybe a total of one week and the rest of the time a heavy winter weight cardigan - I don't really go out that much either though in the winter, most times it is just a walk to the mailbox and around the outside edge of the property maybe 3 times for a little exercise, the usual shopping walking from car to store doesn't usually need a jacket when a sweater will do.
The polka dots are great!
