There are 4 blocks alike of each combination of 4 quarter square triangles.
I put one of each of the combinations that are already sewn up on the design wall. I was sure I was going to get more sewn in 2 hours but just 24 blocks are done.
I spent the morning yesterday outside finishing the tomato plant clean up. It took a long time to cut all of the long branches off the SunGold tomato plant. They were about 6-8 feet long and tangled with each other. I couldn't believe the size of the roots on that tomato plant. I have all of the cages stacked for the winter, all of the tall stakes in the corner of my yard tool closet. There are lots of tomatoes that fell to the ground in the raised bed so I'm hoping there will be some volunteer plants again next year.

Oh my Wanda! I'm really liking where this floral and spot project is going!
The darker Kaffe spots work well with the flower prints. I always think I’ll get more sewing done than what I actually accomplish when I have more than a half hour to sew ;-). It’s like I expand my expectations to a greater extent than the amount of time allowed to sew. Small amounts of time; I get done just what I judge I will, large amounts of time, not so much!
Loving the blocks! I bet you do have volunteer SunGold next spring, I did. And wow they do vine all over the place! SunGold is my favorite flavored tomato. I'm going to start some seeds early next year.
I love the pops of yellow flowers among these blocks;))) they really draw your eyes around the pretty florals...coming together so nicely...
Good job getting all the tomatoes cleaned up for the winter!
48 here this morning and cloudy--westerly winds bringing some warmth I would guess...I hope you enjoy your sewing today
hugs, Julierose
I'm glad I took care of the tomatoes ages ago. I was still working on cleaning up the strawberries yesterday and have one left to do. I don't know if I will finish it before winter. Rain is coming in and then the cold will come. But I have all the runners out from around the bed and now just need to thin that one last bed out. We will see if I get to it.
