Cutting................

I need to start cleaning up the floral fabrics on my table in the basement.  One (or two) other quilts need to be cut so I started with the 6.5" squares.  There are duplicates of some of these so there are 42 squares cut so far.

I also got the fabrics I showed yesterday cut into quarter square triangles.  I have to move all of the triangles off my sewing cabinet so I can sew again.

Another daylight photo in the morning in my living room, so you can see it was even more overcast yesterday.  I found another plant in full bloom, another white one so I moved it over to the coffee table with the others.

The white flowers are so pretty! It rained yesterday and is misty and overcast here today. No sunshine in the forecast until Monday although the temperatures are above average for this time of year.

My white cactus has started to bloom as well. I was worried that the reduced light they now get with solar screens would keep that from happening.

I love your white flower cactus, I looked the last couple days at stores and haven't seen one Xmas Cactus out for sale yet - and no amaryllis either which surprised - it seems like you usually start to see both by this time of year being sold.

A post-birthday fabric bouquet! I give amaryllis as Christmas gifts and bought a dozen at Lowe's yesterday -- but they have already begun to sprout. I asked at our local produce/plant stand--she said that most likely the warehouse was too warm. I'm going to return them. Ace Hardware has them on sale for the same price as Lowe's.

Great progress and wonderful idea for cutting those 6.5" squares for a future project.
Lovely blooms, too.
Did you eat cake yesterday? Hope so!

Hugs!
