Final decision?...........

I went to my church sewing circle yesterday to deliver the little preemie quilts and gowns and to run the ribbons through the neckbands of 33 little gowns.  That is the first time I have driven that far (23 miles) since I hurt my shoulder March 30.  Turning the steering wheel to the left was very painful up until this week.
When I got home I needed to make a decision on this layout.  I showed 2 options yesterday and decided to go with the 12" square in the right vertical column.  I removed the 9" shell block and moved the leaf block down to that position.  I had to put in 9 of the 3" blocks around the 12" block and I like it.  I think I should start sewing it today.

Somehow I missed about you hurting your shoulder. It sounds like it is better. My right tricep, shoulder, and neck are back to normal after trying to get the mower started a week ago. I have to try and get it started tonight so hopefully it won't be as hard to start so I don't end up with a sore arm again.

The quilt top is so pretty. There is so much to look at!

As always, you tweaked the top till it’s perfect. The fabrics are outstanding. Glad to hear your shoulder is better. As someone who suffered with a torn shoulder rotator cuff for a year before surgery, I know the pain you had.

Happy quilting!

Perfect layout.... I knew you would design it even better than what was featured in the magazine.
