I have lots of flannel scraps left from cutting the preemie gowns for about 4 years. I had to iron them all and then find a coordinating group to cut. I decided the pink ones would have green and yellow in them.
This will be the backing for the 3 mostly pink quilt tops. I don't put any batting in them so they will stay soft and flexible like a blanket.
I have lots more pieces pressed and ready for cutting into squares.

Those blankets are so sweet. How big will they be? Will you do the finishing or will the group do that?
I have the same question, how big? Do you use flannel for the back? Do you quilt them? I hardly ever work with flannel and never made a quilt from it. But people give me flannel scraps.
