Two more blocks...............
I made blocks 7 and 8 last night. I can't go any farther until I sew some more triangles together into squares.
In some of the blocks I repeated the same fabric many times and other blocks have totally random fabric choices.
Here are blocks 1 through 8 with a little spacing since I was thinking of a narrow sashing between blocks.
Some hostas are tight spirals.
They are fun to check every few days. I have some that have grown to full height and are now spreading out. This group is still half spirals and the rest opened up more.
I have about a dozen different varieties of hostas. We got some rain yesterday so I need to get out and photograph the back flower beds today. Everything is shooting up so fast with the warm days we have had.

Those blocks are beautiful. They make me want to pull out my batiks and get to work.
Those star blocks are really beautiful. I must cut some triangles and try it. You are right about the garden. Everything is popping out like crazy. It rained yesterday and will today, so it will fuel even more growth. The tulips are just cracking open the buds.
These star blocks come together so quickly when you've done it in stages over time. Love them!
I like the block with the repeated fabrics in the same block with the totally random blocks adds a vintage spirit to the blocks. Vintage in the way that they used what they had until they ran out and carried on with what they had.
I really like these blocks. Going to be beautiful when finished.
Wow, gorgeous blocks. I've never had any luck growing hostas, but I love them. Lucky you!
I do love the blocks. Such great colors and placing. Wow! I have a gezillion hostas, too. We just divided them as they were threatening to move into the house
LOL. Sent oodles home with the gardeners who then distributed them to all their friends--if you visit Seattle you may see the progeny :)
Your blocks are wonderful. Your weather has been so nice and should bring everything out quickly.
