Finish #2 for April............
I finally have another finish for April. It was a month of sidetracks but fun ones so I'm not complaining. This little quilt is 33" x 43.75" and I will keep this one. I have a few favorite baby quilts that I keep, the rest I gift. The fabric is all Aunt Grace's reproduction 1930s. The embroidery is done on my embroidery machine and the designs were from Cactus Punch many years ago.

What a sweet little piece. I can see why you want to keep it.
having come to quilting from the embroidery path embroidered quilts really appeal though would never be able to do a machine embroidered one, mine i do by hand, this is a real beauty
The embroidery is perfect for this quilt and I understand why you are keeping it.
Good morning Wanda.....What a pretty little quilt and it looks like an antique from years past. Maybe one day it will pass to a great grandchild, or even a great, great grandchild, who will treasure it as a family heirloom.
What a treasure that little quilt is! I love it - I'm not surprised you'd want to keep that one!
Oh, my, that's adorable!
I love this quilt the most out of all I have seen of yours so far. (I just subscribed)
Would anyone have a sugestion for a Florida Baby quilt? I figured I would just use flannel or even plain cotton instead of batting.
I have also used embroidery on a quilt. Embroidery machines are so expnsive, I want to make sure I use it as much as possible.
