Sorting and cataloging...

I sorted batiks yesterday in preparation of cutting kits of 2.5" squares.  The only sewing I did was sewing swatches on the Kaffe Fassett cataloging cards.

I added another 10 fabrics to the Kaffe Fassett fabric catalog "page" on my right sidebar.  I took another 10 photos but haven't processed them yet.

A friend from MN is visiting me this morning and then we'll go to the county fair.

I really like the fabric in the first picture, bottom right. It reminds me of an art project we did in elementary school where you scraped off the paint to see the crayoned colors underneath.

Have fun at your fair - the one here is on this week but it is dreadfully commercialized and all about the food, rides, and evening entertainment. There are "crafts and culinary" but they are not prominent in any of the advertising (and the traffic is horrendous in that area).

I hope it is a fun fair with lots of goods in the Home Ec dept.
