The Sandwich Fair starts today and runs for 5 days. I hope to get out there tomorrow. Rain has been forecast for several of the days so I hope it is only spotty showers and not downpours.

More gorgeous fabric! We are getting spotty showers today. I have not been to a county fair in a long time. When I lived in Dover I use to exhibit and win ribbons! I wonder where those ribbons are?
Good morning Wanda.....Hope you find a rain free and cooler day to visit the fair. We used to go every year, but I can't do that much walking around anymore, especially if the temps are in the 80's..
I agree with you regarding the dahlia, and think it will not grow to full size if potted, unless you use a very large pot. They are so beautiful!!!
Do they serve Sandwiches at the Fair? Just kidding. We have a huge county fair, the Erie County Fair, here in August, I did not get there this year, but when I was a kid, I lived very close and went every day. I did not quilt or sew, but the quilts always intrigued me. I had no idea how they were made.
