This is the back. The large print is one of my favorites and I have it on the back of another quilt too.
This is the plant you can see in the background of the orange flower. The plants have bloomed in groups, first the deep pink ones, then the white ones and now I have 3 plants with red blossoms.
The repair of my pump on the hot water heating system will take place on Friday. I have been able to keep the old pump working by oiling it when it complains. I have always kiddingly said that I have a boiler big enough to heat a grade school and that's why my gas bills are so high. Now I found out that I really do have one more than twice the size I need. I will replace the boiler after heating season is over so maybe next year I'll have more efficient heating. The farmers who built this house in 1953 put the best of everything into it but it was overkill to put in a boiler that large.

Great design in this quilt, and the colors are wonderful.
Overkill yes, but you have had it for ever. Which most don't last more than 10 years. The newer one will disappoint you because it will not be as warm and as we get older we need more warmth. Your finish progress is impressive. I really like the cross quilt. Chris
That is a lot of quilt finishes in 17 days! This one is a beauty. I have never seen an orange Christmas cactus, it is beautiful! Here is to hoping that all goes well and now that you know for sure that your system is too big, hopefully when you down size it will save you a little cash too.
That fabric you put on the back of the quilt is so "Wanda". You have a definite look too your work!
Your quilt is so pretty and I can't believe how much you've accomplished in 17 days.
Are you taking a new multi-vitamin or something? Oh my goodness...you are on the move, lady. Love this quilt, and your beautiful blooms. Good luck with the boiler on Friday. My daughter's home had one of those monsters. They have a personality all their own.
So many finishes - you must be pleased!
Yeah...another finish!!! Way to go.
I love all of your cactus blooms.
Cross quilt just 'sings' to me. As always your perfections just glows with each completed finish.
Cactus blossom's are so graceful. I like them even more than all those orchids I see in the shops right now. Their blossoms is so much prettier. But I know there are lots of Orchid lovers out there too. And you have such a wonderful touch with your plants.
OMG Wanda look how long that boiler lasted ! But we too put in an efficient new boiler in our house last year for hot water system. LOVE it ... so quiet and to me warmer house than before. But the old one was wearing out , so big comparison. Our old system was only 38 years old, compared to your 58 years !

The completed crosses quilt is so pretty. And I am so glad you posted that one. I thoroughly enjoyed the one I made using your instructions. You Christmas cacti are just beautiful. You have a green thumb!
The old equipment and tools were made to last, and your boiler certainly did.
Love this latest quilt, and it joins such a long list of finishes in such a short time. Your fingers are swift, Ms. Wanda.
You certainly have a green thumb. The latest blooms are as impressive as any you've shown us.
Well, sounds like you are on a roll getting projects finished up...good for you...I'll be cheering you on to not lose your inspiration and to keep going!!!
That's a bright cheerful and lovely coloured quilt.
Our Christmas catus flower inthe Winter so can't really be called christmas ones can they. I prefer the slightly apricot shade .
Was away for a day and look at that beautiful cross quilt-love it! And the cacti are gorgeous. Hope you get all 9!!
quilt and cactus looking great. I guess big on the boiler is better than too small? good though that you will be getting one to fit the house the right size though. I have to put a call in to the heat fixer man this morning as soon as they open as mine needs to be fixed - glad it wasn't too cold last night and I have the fireplace to get the chill out this morning!

Your Christmas cactus plants are blooming beautifully. So gorgeous! Mine is barely showing a blossom. I hope it does not fall off like last year!
Wanda: I'm only now catching up on postings for the last couple of weeks. I've just read about all the finishing you've been doing and I admire your focus; it must feel great to see those finished quilts stack up.
