My reward for sticking to my list and getting everything done was an hour sewing fix. I will add these 12 diamonds to the rest of them when I move all of them to a double design wall after my shower guests leave. It is fun to have 2 different projects that I can work on in little bits of time on busy days.

Color combos are great. I am working on three right at the moment. I cut for one then cut for the other two while fabric is in my hands. Anxious to see the design wall when you get it together. Chris
Now I know where that pattern comes from. LOL!
Do you (by any chance) have any patterns for scrappy, extremely random disappearing nine-patch blocks (see my post on Tuesday for more info!)?
I love how the size of diamonds show off the fabrics so nicely. The sewing was a nice reward.
I just love those kinds of rewards! This is going to look wonderful!
I really like the lights on this batch. They'll look fantastic once you start putting it together.
Sometimes I think housework would never get done unless I use sewing as a reward for finishing a chore.... *lol*
It is nice to have a couple of projects going on... especially when you get to work with those gorgeous fabrics!
they are looking good - it is always good to have several projects for variety isn't it.

I can hardly wait to see your diamonds all together in a top! Your fabrics from Glorious Color are luscious, especially like the teapots.
best, nadia
Love the diamonds...can't wait to see them in a top.
Your diamonds always look great. I thought I'd try sewing rows of the the same print and then alternate each print or solid and it does not look good at all the shape is lost, I guess I will have to add the borders around each one, oh well so much for a shortcut.
I really do love how the strips just frame the diamonds!!! Sewing is more rewarding to me than chocolate!!!
Your diamonds look great! I will look forward to seeing the end product.
