More rows, 2 quilts....

I have sewn the bottom right corner and after I took the photo I sewed the next long row in the left center.  Someone wanted to see the quilt with just the orange border without the dark strip first.  I had tried this first and didn't like the look of it with the tips of the dark sashing cut off.  I haven't made any final decision on the border yet.
I sewed 4 more rows on the crosses quilt.  I spread one row apart so you can see the repeat is a rectangle, 2 squares, a rectangle, 2 squares, etc.  I will do a tutorial in a few days on how to design this one and then how to sew it.

As always, you are so productive! I may like that border without the dark sashing in between if I understand you correctly.
It's really a spectacular quilt.

What gorgeousness... I'm just in awe of these stunning quilts! You've been very busy!

My word verification is: "hanxztm" which is Martian for "If one of your quilts disappears, I didn't do it!"

I love both of these Quilts. I had been thinking about the process of making them. I really like all the quick piecing methods but sometimes we get into a faster and faster mode and bypass the quilts that have to layed out and sewed piece by piece. You are an inspiration.

They are both looking so good, and yes - to my shame - I really want to see the tutorial on the cross quilt. LOL

The Cross Quilt is always interesting to just look at with some moving in and out. It always amazes me which colors will pop out and why.

I agree with you about putting the dark thin strip on to finish off the diamonds. Gosh that is just a lovely quilt!

I love both quilts as I usually love all your quilts. I think the diamond one would look better with a dark border, like black, just my opinion. The other quilt looks as if it goes together pretty easy. I would love to see you do the tutorial on it. I had a surprise visit from my daughter from Michigan. She is here for the week because of my surgery next Friday. I was so surprised that I pinched her to see if she was real. LOL Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I like both quilts....I keep looking back and forth between the border with and without the dark in between...it will be hard to decide, as it looks good both ways...I'm leaning towards without.
