Mindless fun.........

After I got  home from church sewing circle (42 miles round trip) I had a lot of things to  move around in my basement.  I was exhausted afterwards so I just did some mindless sewing with the clean up cuts* that have been accumulating.

From all indications the system works for you. I have started with this clean up I am doing to start making extra cuts also.

Love your leftovers! I went back and looked at your post where you describe your process for cutting and organizing your fabrics. I think I'm going to evaluate my storage. I like that you have ready made strips to work with instead of having to go through your fabrics when starting something new.

Wow, even the scraps of mindless sewing look great. That's the reason I visit your blog first everyday. Exuberant Color is the perfect name!

I've started saving clean cuts (lots of different kinds of a fabrics including KF and batiks). One day, there will be stitching with them. For now, there is only gathering.

Here's to mindless sewing!!

Only you, Wanda! Those look so pretty sewn together. You just have an unerring eye for combining colors and patterns.
