I cut reds and a few yellow, gold squares yesterday. At 9:30 last night I thought I was done for the night playing with the layout of this mini colorwash.
Then I started adding a few pieces and took this picture to see if I was done. On the right side I didn't like the way green met the orange.
I changed out a few pieces and kept at it until I had this layout. I think it is ready to sew but I'll look at it again this morning to be sure. I actually did change one piece after I took this photo.
In the afternoon I dug out some dandelions that were in my front garden. Today I might dig out the white violets.

So beautiful, I love looking to see what squares were changed. I believe you said you don’t usually add yellow but it sure makes this one glow.
Love the yellows in that glowing center, Wanda; this is such a lovely piece...the colors all melt into one another beautifully;)))
48 here this morning with bright sunshine and a few wandering clouds...maybe I will walk outside today...still auditioning next border fabrics for Frankencrumb piece...maybe going with white on black--will have to die cut strips to really see how they'll look...
Hugs, Julierose
This colorwash is very pretty!
It's interesting to see the big difference a few squares can make.
